Kerling.is is a logo I designed for the website kerling.is. The name comes from Kerling, a rock formation in Iceland that resembles a troll woman. For the logo, I illustrated the shape of the rock and drew inspiration for the colors from the painting Tarquinia by Tryggvi Ólafsson (1940), which the client had in mind.
